The Amazing Skydive: Herts Vision Loss Staff & Volunteers Dive for Charity

On May 15th, 2019, our Vision Loss Advisers and two brave volunteers demonstrated their unwavering commitment to Herts Vision Loss by skydiving from a height of 13,000 feet. Under clear blue skies and minimal wind, they had an incredible experience that they hope to repeat someday. We want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who donated or sponsored this event. We are thrilled to announce that we raised almost £4,000, which will go a long way towards helping us support those with vision loss.

The event was a great success and we couldn’t have done it without the help of our supporters. The funds raised will help us to continue providing valuable services and support to people living with vision loss in the Hertfordshire area. Our Vision Loss Advisers work tirelessly to provide practical and emotional support to those affected by sight loss, and events like this help us to ensure that we can continue to provide this vital service.

We are incredibly grateful to the two volunteers who took part in the skydive, and we hope that their bravery will inspire others to get involved in our upcoming events. We are always looking for new ways to raise funds and awareness for our cause, and we welcome any ideas or suggestions that our supporters may have.

Once again, thank you to everyone who supported us in this event. Your generosity and kindness mean the world to us and to the people we support. We look forward to continuing our work in the community and making a positive difference to the lives of those affected by vision loss.
