As an independent local charity, fundraising and donations are vital for our work. While we receive some funding from Hertfordshire County Council for sensory services, we require additional funding to support the local community and expand our services. We apply for grants and host fundraising events to meet the demand and are grateful for the money we receive in donations.

Donations are important to us and always very welcome. You can do this simply by sending us a donation, either individually or as a group. Many people are now asking family and friends to make a donation to Herts Vision Loss to mark an occasion like a special birthday or anniversary, or in lieu of flowers in memory of a loved one who has passed away.

There are many different ways to donate. You could simply post us a cheque, postal order, or drop a donation in to us personally at the address below.

Make regular donations easily via standing order

Donating to our cause on a regular basis has never been simpler. Our standing order form allows you to set up automatic payments directly to the Herts Vision Loss bank account. You choose the amount and frequency (typically monthly or annually), and if you’re a taxpayer, you can also add gift aid to maximize the impact of your donation.
