Herts Vision Loss provides support to local clubs for blind and partially sighted people in different areas of Hertfordshire. We are always keen to help facilitate the start-up of new groups. If you know of groups that should be added the list below, or you would like to discuss starting a new group in your area, please get in touch.
Welwyn Garden City
The Thursday Club meets 2nd Thursday of the month 2pm – 4pm at Guessens Grove Hall, Guessens Road, Welwyn Garden City.

A group of volunteer drivers use their cars to collect the same elderly people once a month on a Sunday afternoon and together they visit a volunteer host for tea and an informal social afternoon. The group visits a different host each month and arrive at the host’s home around 3pm and leave again around 5pm.This monthly outing with friends is something our members look forward to with great pleasure, as for many, the outings are a lifeline of friendship.
