From talking scales and tactile kitchen hobs to screen readers, magnifiers and other low‑vision aids, these items help with reading, cooking, managing medication and staying independent at home. Many of the products listed below are available free of charge or for a small voluntary donation, so that anyone in Hertfordshire living with visual impairment can benefit from the right tools without worrying about cost.
